Hidden Valley Presbyterian Church is the collection point for the South Valley for Operation Christmas Child. If you would like to participate, please fill a shoe box with items like the ones suggested below. If you live near me and want to build a box you can drop them off with me and I will deliver them to the church collection point. They need to be delivered by Nov. 14 and there is a $7 shipping fee that if you pay on line you can track your package to see where it goes. Otherwise include it in the package (see instructions http://www.samaritanspurse.org/). See the video's below for more information. Sketch®, toys that light up or make noise (withextra batteries), Slinky®, etc.
pens, pencils and sharpener, crayons or markers,stamps and ink pad sets, writing pads or paper,
solar calculators, coloring and picture books, etc.
toothbrush, toothpaste, mild bar soap (in a plasticbag), comb, washcloth, etc.
Hard candy and lollipops (please double bag allcandy), mints, gum, T-shirts, socks, ball caps;
sunglasses, hair clips, toy jewelry, watches,flashlights (with extra batteries)
A PERSONAL NOTE
In a separate envelope, you may enclose a note to the child and a photo of yourself or your family.
(If you include your name and address, the childmay write back.)
