I am selling this Simplicity embroidery machine for the great price of-$250.00.  I payed over $500.00 for it 2 years ago.I love this machine and have used it to create many things.  I am selling it because I am upgrading to another machine.
Here is a little about the machine...
Product Description

The Simplicity Embroidery System, an embroidery only machine, makes professional style embroidery available to dabbler's or ardent sewers and crafters at an affordable price. The Americana series includes jumbo letters, patriotic motifs and holiday embroidery designs. Patriotic Collection: Brighten up your 4th of July with USA themed holiday designs including the statue of liberty, American flag, freedom, fireworks, and more.  Create embroidery on almost anything - a quilt, living room curtains, polo shirts, towels, table placemats, holiday decorations and more. Simply 1. Turn on the machine. 2. Pick a design or type in a name or phrase. 3. Edit the layout and colors. 4. Set your fabric in the hoop. 5. Press start. This machine is great for beginners. In case one should ever get stuck, a quick and easy on screen tutorial will walk you through. Step by Step. The tutorial will teach you how to wind the bobbin, attach the hoop, change the needle and more. Truely a Simplicity embroidery system.

Get together for Colette...

We caught wind of a number of large "sub for santas" that are happening for Colette and the kids so we have decided to postpone the gathering we had set for this Wednesday. We have a few ideas in the works for things we might do after Christmas and will keep you posted as we have more details.

For now I suggest that you donate in one of the following ways:

1) Donate through fast offerings to the Bishop. (Sis. Allen or the Bishop can clarify how the tithing slip needs to be filled out).
2) The primary presidency is putting together a basket filled with gift cards and other notes that will be delivered to Colette this week. If you would like to add to it, get your gift card to Nina Jackson.
3) Donate to the Brian D. Buttars fund through Zions Bank.

I know there are so many who have HUGE hearts and want to help! We will keep you posted in the coming weeks as things settle down and we decide what we can do as sisters.

Thanks ladies! You are all fantastic!

What a wonderful way to start the season... What a great gift!!!

As a part of his doctoral studies, John Hilton III is "studying what happens when books are made available for free." He worked with "Deseret Book and they have made 8 of their books available for free." They can all be downloaded at Several of the books are ones you might be interested in. The books are:

LDS/Deseret book ~ books that you can download for free.

Deseret Book has made 8 of their books available for FREE DOWNLOAD at tp:// The books are:
1. Please Pass the Scripture (by me - John Hilton III).
2. What I Wish I Would Have Known When I Was Single (by John Bytheway).
3. Women at the Well (by Richard and Jeni Holzapfel).
4. Digging Deeper (by Robert Eaton).
5. 10 Secrets Wise Parents Know (by Brent Top and Bruce Chadwick).
6. Growing Up: Gospel Answers About Maturation and Sex (by Brad Wilcox).
7. Saving Kristen (by Jack Weyland). (fiction)
8. The Hidden Path (by C.B. Andersen). (fiction).

I recommend that you go download them all and save them for future reference as they will only be available online for free for a short time.

Could you forward this information on to others who might be interested? I want to help share these great, free resources with as many people as possible. Some of the books help you get more out of the scriptures. Others are good for parenting. Some are just plain fun. Go check out I hope you like the books!
