Suggestions, Please!

Hello neighbors!!  This is my first time writing on the neighborhood blog, and I think it's such a great idea!  Thanks for inviting me to it!

So, I need all of your expert advice...  We do not have a dentist in this area yet, since we are still relatively new to the area, and I need your recommendations on good, wait, no, not just good, but fabulous dentists in the area.  I have had amazing dentists in the past that I really trusted, but have heard horror stories of bad dentists that do work they don't need to, and so I really don't just want to choose any random dentist.  So, as my neighbors that have been here much longer than me, please comment on this post and give me your suggestions of who you go to and if you like them and would recommend them.  Also, my husband heard some good things about Stonehaven Dental from someone - does anyone go to them too and recommend them?  THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP! :)

  1. I really like Dr. Lloyd - Dry Creek Dental. He's close by and has been so good to our entire family. Good luck!

  2. We like Dr Hadfield also just down the street.

  3. Loren just started going to Hadfield because they could get him in when our normal dentist couldn't. We go to Blackhurst in A.F. and love him. He has been our dentist for 11 years. It is further away, though.

  4. We go to Stonehaven. I've been pretty happy with them. They have a really nice facility and capable staff. The pros: it's close, they always have appointments available, they accept any insurance, they use all the lastest technnology (like sedation, etc.), they are good with my kids (my daughter especially likes that they give out cookies and prizes), The cons: You must request a specific dentist each time or they just put you with whoever, it does have a bit of an "assembly line" feel, and they can be a bit pricey. All things considered, however, - I would certainly recommend them. Hope that helps.

  5. we go to DR. Lossey at Thanksgiving Point Dental.
My husband and I really like him and feel his prices are fair. But of course we paid mega bucks in Colorado for dental, so that is all we have had for the last 25 years to compare it to.

  6. I have a great dentist, in west valley- my Dad is awesome! just kidding, the drive is ridiculous. We worked with Shefield Lloyd (I think that his last name) and we really liked working with him- he was down to earth and honest. His office is at the end of 3200 N in that office complex by Smiths. I have not personally had work done by him, but really liked him as a person. I think Amy Sabin was in a ward with him and his wife and she really liked him as well. Good luck. I know a good orthodontist as well if you ever need one.
